1. NO CHEATING. You all know this. If we catch you doing things like using Photoshop to doctor a score or time, using a game controller to better your odds, having a friend help you spam-post, etc., you will NOT enjoy the laser eyes staring upon you.
2. RESPECT your fellow players and hosts. Drama is okay. Blackmailing someone over the game is okay. But no threatening to reveal a personal secret or anything like that. Do not call people inappropriate names (the three worst ones have been censored) and do NOT throw the hosts under the bus. If the game becomes too personal, nobody will like what happens. None of us want to deal with Lividmanda, including me.
3. TREEMAIL will be posted at least the night before a challenge. We try our hardest to avoid live challenges, as they are particularly difficult during the school year, but expect there to be about 3 this season. There will be semi-live challenges as well.
4. TRIBAL COUNCIL will last 24 hours. Votes will not be accepted after the deadline, no exceptions. We will NOT read votes early unless they are all in and it is unanimous. This is in case things change, and based on experience, they often do.
5. BE ACTIVE. If you self-vote for ANY reason, we reserve the right to remove you from the game. All-Stars do NOT self-vote. Remember to leave a bootlist! You all know how they work.
Also, if something prevents you from accessing the Internet, please inform us, and we will arrange Tribal challenges so your participation is not required. If we do not have advance notice that you will be gone, then we can only assume that you are inactive, and what we do with your position in the game is up to us.
6. TIEBREAKER procedure will be as follows: If not all votes are involved in the tie (i.e. a 3-3-2 vote), we will have a revote between the two tied parties. This will last for 24 hours. If all votes are involved in the tie (i.e. a 4-4 vote, even after a revote), a brief 24-hour challenge between the two parties involved in the tie will be held at Tribal. The loser goes home.
As hosts, we have a couple rules for ourselves:
1. All confessional information will be kept private. All votes will remain anonymous until the end of the game, when a vote chart will be released. The only bits of confessionals that will be made public are episode titles, but both the context and who said them will remain secret until endgame.
2. Excluding from rewards, we will NOT give challenge advantages or anything of the sort. We will NOT show bias of any kind towards any player, so do not ask. We strive to be fair, objective hosts. If you have an issue, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve it. Our decisions are FINAL and if you badger us over something you disagree with, it will not end well for you. You will receive a penalty vote and, if it continues, you may be removed from the game.
