Ahoy, mateys!
I ain't the best when it comes to speeches, but I be givin' her me best shot. Usually they be tryin' to limit me to 30 seconds fer me commercials... I don't reckon I'll be able to say all I need to say in 30 seconds, but I'll try not to go overboard.
Let me start by sayin' that I've never played in a game quite like this one. After nearly 3 months at sea, with 10 Ninjas disappearin' into thin air, 9 Robots havin' severe computer malfunctions, and 8 fellow Pirates fallin' overboard, it's hard to believe that I still be standin' here with me wooden peg leg still intact. But I did it, and to quote me good friend Tony, it feels grrrr-eat!
Anyway, I'd like to thank each of ya fer makin' this game as fun and interesting as it was -- that goes to everyone on the jury, as well as Hook and Rosie. A game is only as good as the players, and there be a lot of worthy competitors in this game.
Also, thank you Jesus fer hostin' this game... and fer eventually comin' up with challenges that weren't "post a confessional" or "post if you're still alive". You never gave up on this game and you be bringin' lots of creative ideas to it to keep things exciting. Well done!
Also, thank you Bella fer the kind words about me story. I don't know who you are since ya kinda just showed up one day and had access to everybody's confessionals, but I be appreciatin' yer comments all the same.
Now that that's outta the way, I'd like to tell ya a bit about me strategy:
"They say that a good Captain isn't one who always stands at the helm and steers the ship, but rather one that knows when he must step up and take control and when he should just raise the sails and let the seas guide him to where he needs to be..."
In a nutshell, this quote be the foundation of me strategy fer Survivor: PvNvR. Like I said, this game was a lot longer and had a lot more people than any that I ever played before. Not to mention it be havin' more Star Points than a game of Mario Party, and more random prize items than a box of Fruity Pebbles. So comin' into this game, I knew that anything I thought I knew 'bout these online reality games was out the window.
The 3 things I tried to focus on in this game were:
1) always having fun and trying to be entertaining.
2) being adaptable to the many twists, turns and random prizes, and always havin' a back-up plan.
3) doing whatever I had to to stay in the game, while playing an honest game for the most part.
No matter what happens, I feel like I played the best game I could. I be proud of everything I did in this game, and don't have any regrets. I had a great time embracin' me inner Captain Crunch, and if nothing else, I think I be doin' a good job representin' the world of breakfast cereals.
I look forward to hearin' yer questions and comments, and promise to answer yer questions as honestly and with as many cereal/pirate puns as humanly possible.
Thanks!
